Gitxsan Elders

PCAP-MCH and the Gwalxyeeanst programs are happy to include our Gitxsan Elders in our programs. Elders are invited to luncheons, cultural activities and community events and workshops.

The program has been including the Gitxsan culture based on the four seasons. For example, during the Summer season, staff and clients will harvest salmon and go on the land berry picking. The program invites clients and elders for workshops such as: making jam, cedar weaving, soap balm making, vest making for feasts, and more.
